The Cancer Equity Colloquium, reimagined.
A recurring event, run three to four times, that grew from a fully virtual portal experience into an in-person colloquium with a brand system to match. This is that evolution.
I designed the visual identity for the Cancer Equity Colloquium across every iteration of the event starting with a fully virtual portal experience built in collaboration with Harvard, through to the most recent in-person colloquium with branding aligned to MGH’s hospital-wide identity. The work spans portal graphics, email design, promotional video, social campaigns, print collateral, and event signage.
The Virtual Years
Before the colloquium met in person, it lived entirely online. Attendees moved through a virtual portal — and that portal needed a brand presence built from scratch, in collaboration with Harvard.

A few years later
The colloquium moved off-screen and into a room and the brand grew up with it.
In the Room
The most recent colloquium brought the event in person, with a visual system rebuilt to align with Massachusetts General Hospital’s own brand — from social campaigns to the materials guests held in their hands.
